Moss Art

Ever since I saw this Moss Art a couple years ago, I was intrigued. Since I'm impatient I've come up with my own way to create it, which makes it not as crisp and graphic (boo), but you also don't have to wait weeks for something to finally grow.

And yes, I like bird silhouettes.

My first Moss Art from summer 2010 (it was still wet when I took the bottom photo). It enticed some pretty cool bugs.

One of my two Moss Arts from France...too bad I forgot to photograph the second one. It looks like the bird is pooping in this - again that's only because I took the photo when it was all still wet.

This is my most recent Moss Art, which Steph Wiezbenski helped me with - and let me tell you, stealing moss from people's yards/sidewalks is a lot less weird when a friend is with you...
